		<description><![CDATA[Thanks Jane. Yes, it seems that we&#039;re resorting to the binary opposites again and making our heroes, male and female, as one dimensional as possible. Just because a girl wields a sword doesn&#039;t mean she&#039;s breaking the stereotype, especially if, at the end of the story, she reverts back to being the &#039;damsel&#039; as you say. I will watch this movie with great interest and the new cartoon from Pixar as well which has a red-headed princess who wants to be anything but... wonder what they&#039;ll make her become or what sacrifices she&#039;ll be forced to make if any???]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[My company works with boys in schools and assists boys to look beyond the media&#039;s definition of what masculinity is. Fairytales are often our first introduction into the moral stories that will permeate our lives and unfortunately film and media have become our new guides.  With Women told they have be the damsel in distress or the bit#h and men told they have to be muscular to be masculine it does little to reflect the diversity we are as human beings.
